This is the port of the island of Sifnos. It is the biggest coastal village on the island and it was named after the caves (kamares) that were formed in its southern coasts.


The lovely village of Kastro with the magnificent panoramic view is situated 2km east of Appolonia.


Faros is a small fishing village, 7km away from Appolonia. Considered as the island’s safest port, Faros took its name from the area’s old lighthouse.


The beach of Apokofto is situated on the left of ‘Panagia the Chrissopigi’.

Glyfo beach is located in Faros village, only seven (7) kilometers away from Apollonia.
